Wheel balancing & care
Rotating your tyres every 10,000km helps them wear evenly and last longer. Front tyres naturally wear faster due to steering and cornering forces, so swapping them with the rears balances out the wear. Regular rotation keeps all four tyres performing at their best.
Tyre balancing is carried out in-house using our state-of-the-art wheel balancer. Proper balance is essential because your wheels and tyres rotate at high speeds as a single, perfectly round unit. If the weight distribution is even slightly off, it can cause vibration or wobbling while driving.
This imbalance is often most noticeable at certain speeds... for example, you might feel a shake around 90 km/h that fades by 100 km/h. Not only is this uncomfortable, but it can also lead to premature wear on steering and suspension components as they absorb extra stress.
Wheel balance can be affected by various factors, including tyre wear, rust or corrosion, pothole impacts, or lost wheel weights. That’s why it’s a good idea to have all four tyres balanced whenever they’re off the vehicle for a rotation, this way it keeps your ride smooth and your components in good shape.
